Oh that sunny yellow bonnet is precious! Is it handmade or from somewhere?? I love it and I don't even have a little girl to put it on (yet). One day!

This project seems like a good idea. I did the one photo every day in January project this year which is so precisous to me now. Isn't it amazing when you can visually see that your child is emerging into their new age. Five seems so grown up doesn't it.

Hi Jodi, I just wondered – do you find it difficult choosing your photos for the week? Do you have a certain criteria, or do you just go with the photo that jumps out at you? I'm doing the same project on my private blog, and because I take so many photos, I have trouble choosing which one to use!

Viki, sometimes it's really hard to choose, at other times it's easy. The photos on this post….not my favorites of all time but they were the best of the week. Usually the best photo is obvious and funnily enough a lot of the portraits have worked well together as a diptych. Check in later in the week…I'll be talking a little bit about choosing/editing shots in my review of The Nursery.
