    Those are curls are delicious.
And I LOVE Che's face paint….that is awesome!
Is Poet out of a cot? Loving the bunting I can see in the mirror reflection.
    Happy Sunday Jodi.

Poet never slept in a cot…she's been cosleeping with us since day one. We'll start to transition her into her own bed for day sleeps soon….with the aim to have her sleeping in her own bed when she's two x

Jodi can I ask, how does she go with day sleeps, do you need to lay down with her to get her to sleep?
That face paint is art in itself!

I still feed her to sleep Rhi although if I'm not here Daniel can get her to sleep (with a little extra back-rubbing encouragement). I like having the opportunity in my day to rest a little too – to lie with her and cuddle her and be still for a while. Most people would probably frown upon it but I have absolutely no concerns. x

Thanks Jodi, I can imagine it would be nice to have that chance to be still in the day with her, I doubt I would make it out of bed once she was asleep! Enjoy it while you can x

These two are two of your 52 best. Friends of mine were at Bassie's party – they were probably the two wild ones climbing trees 🙂 Again, I see Daniel in Poet. X

I think these are two of my favourites. But I think that every week. Poet is growing so fast! And that face paint is amazing! My five year old to be loves face paint that much she wants to be a face painter when she grows up, she recently transformed onto a lady bud 🙂

That's a much better face-paint job than I ever have seen for a birthday party. When we had school carnivals and things I can remember very simple hearts, balloons, and peace signs were often what we could choose from. His tiger face looks fantastic.

    Poet's curls… darling.

    My best,

One of the mums is an incredibly talented makeup/body art artist (she travels to Paris every year for work). Needless to say the face painting was very professional! x

They grow so quickly. You blink and that darling baby chubbiness has made way for long, lean and lanky, (although I still like to bundle them up into a cradled position, ignoring the giggling protests.)
