52/52

“A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012.”
Che: Waiting for her (she’s smelling the daisies).
Poet: Waiting for him (he’s chasing the ducks)

And there we have 52 (104) portraits, one for every week of the year. Pop back later today for a little summary of 2012. I’ll also be posting the beautiful “52” button in a few different sizes for those joining in throughout 2013.

Is this your home? It looks absolutely lovely. To have such a place for kids to grow in must feel really great. Lucky children. And, of course, lucky you.
I am excited for the button and to join in the portrait project too.
    Thanks.

What a beautiful way to end your portraits for the year – these images are stunning, Jodi.

Watching your two little's grow, and getting to know them through these weekly photographs has been an absolute pleasure, and a generous gift, from you to Che and Poet, and to your readers.
I am whole heartedly looking forward to the 2013 edition…I may need to borrow someone else's children, or ring our animals in for the occasion 😉

Now, I'm going to make myself a coffee, have a sit down and wander back though your 52 portraits for this year.

    Sar xx

Your photography is wonderful and has improved so much over the course of the year! I am really excited to be joining in the '52' project as well for 2013. I'll be doing a portrait of my son, husband and myself every week. I'll also be doing the '365' project, you should too Jodi! Thank you for sharing your days on here. Very much an inspiration.

Oh thank you Jesi…thrilled to hear you're joining in for 2013. 365 inspired me in the first place…but a photo a day is a little overwhelming for me x

I would definitely agree… I am a bit intimidated to say the least when it comes to the 365 project, and I am a photographer! There is so much to do this coming year though, and I have a very strong feeling that this will be a most wonderful year, so I definitely want to capture that with the 52 project. While the 365 project is more external, the 52 project really allows me, as you said, to capture the memories of these years that go by so fast, of my family and life; not to just improve my photography. Thanks for the reply and for sharing this wonderful idea in the first place. I hope a nice amount of people join in, it will be wonderful to feel more connected.

    You did it!

With my BRAND NEW CAMERA (yes!) I might try this project myself this year. I really, really want to, but I suck at commitment and I just don't know if I could be disciplined enough each week… see me talking myself out of it. Damn it. I'm going in… x
