I’m wearing oversized striped dress / sunshine shawl / photos by Luisa

Firstly, thank you so much for your beautiful messages on yesterday’s post – your excitement and happiness makes this experience all the more special. As I have already mentioned, it’s been hard to keep it a secret and if you know me in real life, it’s been hard to hide the belly. Third time around and I have popped; I was in maternity jeans at 7 weeks pregnant! Considering I’ve spent the past few months rotating leggings, jeans and floaty tops, I’m definitely ready for a change.

When Em from Bohemian Traders showed me this red and white stripe number I knew it would be perfect for my second trimester. I usually opt for the classic navy and white but I really like this pop of colour – it’s fun and spring-like and it’s a nice change from the dark shades of winter. As per usual, I’m wearing a scarf/shawl which adds a chic, bohemian touch (and will make a fabulous baby swaddle/pram cover/beach blanket).

Bohemian Traders HQ is a very short walk from my house so I plan to make the most out of the gorgeous new season products as my belly grows. And come mid-summer when the heat is intense and I’m bountiful and waddling…I’ll be wearing poppy pants – every day.
