“A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2015.”

Poet: the very first ballet class was everything and more for this tiny dancer.

“How are you feeling about your first ballet class, Poet?”
“I’m so exciting!”
(I choose not to change her incorrect use of tense)
“What did you love most about your class?”
“I’m loved everything. But we didn’t do Swan Lake!”
Shot on a Canon 5d mkiii with a 50mm 1.4 lens – ISO 640, f2.0, 1/320
This week I found great inspiration in these four portraits (especially those of the “unportrait nature”) / this icy world seems so far away, yet so magical / movement captured…such a big part of childhood.

What a gorgeous capture! And yes, she is totally exciting 😉

I took "last" photos of my one twin last year, just as she decided this was not for her 🙂

Beautiful! My daughter is waiting for her 4th birthday to start her ballet class… Apparently they don't accept kids less than 4 years old!

This image is so beautiful. I love your photography.
I am wondering if and how you downsize your images for internet use?
Also how do I save and resize for saving to photo album?
Another thing that is driving me insane is trying to work out how to put four images into a grid, like you did for part of the 52 project a couple of weeks back.
If anyone at all has any ideas, I would really appreciate your input.
    Thanks xx

I'll write a post on resizing images and schedule it for tomorrow afternoon (Sunday 15th). In regards to the grid of photos, I created that in photoshop. When it comes to any kind of editing and resizing, you really do need to use specific programs (I use lightroom and photoshop) x

A quick and easy way to create a collage is by using a website like http://www.picmonkey.com – if you want something quick and easy and don't have the more complicated programs, like PS or LR that is. HTH 🙂 x
