“A portrait of my daughter, once a week, every week, in 2015.”

Poet: she comes in early every morning and snuggles right in the middle. The only problem with this scenario is that someday very, very soon, there will be another little person in the middle.

The state of my windows – disgraceful, I know. Ho hum.
Shot on a Canon 5d mkiii with a 50mm 1.4 lens – ISO 400, f2.8, 1/160
This week I fell for a cacophony of colour / a portrait of a toddler and an iconic Australian summer / dark and light and a sweet little boy.

This is just lovely. I remember very distinctly the morning when my oldest came into our bedroom for the first time to find his baby sister there in his spot…took a bit of the wind out of his sails. But we had him hop on in with us as it was. The more the merrier. 🙂

Oh that sound so like our girls; it's only recently we've not have one or both of them in with us almost every night, and there are definitely times when one arrives to find the spot already taken by their baby brother – definitely the more the merrier!

Your windows look just like mine – even though you've got by far the better view (such a lovely garden!). Our two boys love to cuddle in our bed every morning and it's my favourite part of the day.

Beautiful photo, she is growing up so fast! My windows are much the same at the moment, my front porch is always picking up dust so after one day clean they are the same the next day. grr.

I remember the first time my big girl came in and found her little sister in the bed. She was not amused, but she got over it pretty quickly once she realised there was still room for her.
