We’re nearing the pointy end of the Christmas shopping calendar.

If you’ve still got a list and haven’t yet checked it twice, I’ve got a few inspired ideas up my sleeve.

I’ve always been a fan of Oxfam Shop, the leading ethical retailer in Australia and this year I’ve collated a few of my favourite things. Always my first stop when I’m after handmade, fair trade and charitable gifts, Oxfam Shop continues to support small, remote communities around the world by showcasing their creations.

Oxfam are passionate about spreading the ethical Christmas message so if you’re keen to do the same, head over here to learn more about how you can make your Christmas an ethical one.

This week they are offering free shipping Australia-wide on every single purchase but don’t wait – Christmas deliveries close in four days!

For the Gardener

A set of three white-washed terracotta pots makes a beautiful addition to a kitchen windowsill, perfect for herbs or succulents. Quality gardening tools are perfect for green-thumbs or those keen to start growing in the New Year (good tools are an essential part of bringing resolutions to life).

For the Entertainer

The festive season calls for platters of every kind; hipster-esque wooden boards will be brimming with fruit and cheese and fancy bread sticks wrapped in prosciutto. If you know someone who loves to host a party, this acacia wood cheese board and quirky mouse cheese knife (with knotted tail) will be a very welcome gift.

For a Family

Call me the basket lady but in my opinion, there’s no such thing as too many baskets. This large bolga basket is the perfect size for picnics or beach trips and will look just as good at home filled with toys or books or shoes. The tight weave and leather handle ensures it will withstand children, adventures and bucket loads of sand.

Oxfam kindly gifted me the above items.
